Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Our hearts are heavy as we share this unexpected journey of our precious newborn baby, Jaxson who entered this world little to our knowlage fighting for every breath everytime he was fed. Shortly after being discharged, he experienced severe breathing complications that required immediate intervention.
He was rushed to the ER, where doctors discovered fluid buildup in his chest. It wasnt till multiple ambulance rides and 3 hospitals a chest tube was placed to help drain the fluid and allow his lungs to expand. Because of these complications, Jaxson has chylothorax and a plural effusion. Which means he is also unable to breath and to feed on his own. He currently relies on a feeding tube and oxygen.
As parents/family, this is the most difficult and heartbreaking time of our lives. Watching our tiny newborn baby covered in tubes and monitors, fighting with such strength and resilience, has been both devastating and humbling.
We are reaching out for help — not only with the medical expenses, but also with the cost of being by the baby’s side: travel to and from the hospital, meals, missed work, and the basic needs that don’t stop during a crisis.
Every dollar, every share, and every prayer makes a difference. We are grateful for any support you can offer — financial or emotional — as we walk through this storm with hope in our hearts and faith in our baby’s strength.
Thank you for loving Baby Jaxson with us.
With gratitude,
The Eisele Family
