If you know either of us, you know that we are passionate about education behind bars and education for people who have been released to the community. We are working with an extremely special student who has dealt with both poverty and juvenile incarceration and will graduate with top honors. This student has been accepted at a prestigious master’s program in the Northeast and we want to help them get there. Moving is extremely costly, so we are soliciting your donation for the following reasons:

1. This student is not in a financial position to be able to cover the costs of a multi-state move.

2. This student has NO family. None. The local community has been their sole support system.

3. From starting at community college as an unhoused person, to graduating with a bachelor's degree with numerous recognitions, honors, and awards, we have never seen a student so deserving with so little support.

Please consider donating so we can help set this truly remarkable student up to be successful in graduate school. We’d love for them not to have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, or how they will pay their rent, or whether or not they’ll be able to afford gas on the move up to their new school.
