Join Us in Saving Poppy's Life

On the morning of February 13, I knew something was wrong. My sweet 4-year-old Shih Tzu, Poppy, was shaking uncontrollably, refusing food, and barely moving. We rushed to the vet, hoping for the best. Despite treatment, she didn’t improve. By February 17, she had stopped drinking water entirely—a life-threatening situation.

We tried everything, but by February 19, Poppy could no longer stand. She still wasn’t eating or drinking on her own, and I knew we were running out of time. That morning, I took her to the emergency vet, where she has been hospitalized as they fight to find out what’s wrong.

Right now, Poppy is undergoing extensive tests and treatment, but nothing is adding up. Each test rules out one possibility but leaves us searching for answers. Despite everything, she is still fighting, and I refuse to give up on her.

Poppy has been my rock, my best friend, and my lifeline in some of my darkest moments. Now, she needs me to fight for her. But the cost of hospitalization, diagnostics, and treatment is overwhelming, and I can’t do this alone.
