Help Tato Walk Again!

Donation protected
Our sweet boy is home!! They did have to amputate the leg, but he’s acting like nothing even happened. He’s ready to get up and walking again, but vets orders are to be resting! Already back to laying in his funky ways! We did have to take a loan out to take care of the rest of the vet bills so I’m going to leave the GoFundMe up for anyone who wants to donate! Next step is taking him to physical therapy they are thinking he’s going to need about 5 months of it which isn’t going to be cheap, but we want to make sure everything goes back to as normal as possible. Thank you guys so much for all the support and love we definitely needed it during this time.

Not so great update on our boy: although he is doing great after a very intensive first set of surgeries it’s sounding like our estimate has now almost doubled. Surgery went great but took way longer than they anticipated so anesthesia costs went up quite a bit, plus lodging over the weekend they are saying we are going to be closer to the $12,000 range not including his other surgery Monday to attempt to fix his femur. If the implant fails or they are not able to support his leg properly they are talking like possible amputation of that leg all together. So now it’s sounds like we could be in the $17,000-$20,000 range not including rehabilitation. If you have not shared our link please do, that alone will help us get his story out. We are going to go see him today they said we only have about 10 min. but we are going to take what we can get. Anything helps.

Another update: we got to see Tato again this morning sounds like surgery is moved another day because they want to do more X-rays and a CT scan of his pelvis. They are talking about possible amputation of his leg with the snapped femur and possible blood transfusion after surgery. The price just keeps going up, but we have not changed our minds. We are going to do whatever we can where we have been told he has no internal bleeding or bruising. It’s just going to be a lot of recovery time.

Update on Tato: he has been officially booked for surgery for tomorrow morning. They are saying it’s worse than what the other vet had mentioned. He has not one but 4 fractures on his pelvis, broken femur, broken tibias, and his hip is out of place. We got a hotel where he is tonight to get to see him before surgery. They are wanting $8,000 as a deposit and that it could be $10,000 or more by the end of it. He’s going to have to stay here for atleast a week and possible rehab afterwards. Thoughts and prayers needed. Anything helps. Thank you for everyone who has helped us so far!

Anything will help please help us save our Tato. Our sweet boy was hit by a truck this morning. He is stable, but he is very damaged on his rear end. He has a fractured pelvis, broken femur, fractured tibia, and more. I hate to ask but they are saying it could cost up to $10,000 to get him fixed up, but euthanasia is not an option for us as he isn’t even 2 years old yet. If anyone could donate anything will help.
