Help Save Chief: Battling Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Animal Lovers,

Our beloved Chief has had a rough go of it; living as a stray on the streets of Oklahoma, being hit by a car and having his left front leg partially amputated, and being diagnosed with heartworm disease and going through the rigorous treatment has been a tough journey to his happily ever after. But since the day Chief came into our lives he has brought love, laughs, and his cheesy little smiles.

Chief has a suspicious mass that was reviewed through a fine needle aspirate, and is suspected to be neoplastic in nature. The news has been devastating, but we are committed to fighting for his health and happiness.

Chief needs surgery to remove the mass while obtaining the best margins, which entails amputation of his left scapula (on the limb of his exisiting amputation).

Chief is not just a pet; he is a part of our family. We are incredibly grateful for any contribution and for sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help.
