Growing up in Pasadena, California, I was an avid vintage collector from the age of 14. My collection grew when I became a wardrobe stylist in the entertainment industry and has continued to grow over the past thirty years. My style aesthetic has always been vintage-inspired, and owning a vintage store was always a dream of mine. In 2017, I decided to make my collection available for purchase online and RetroBlades (Retro = vintage, Blades = my last name) was born. And in 2021 we opened our first brick and mortar store located in Playa Vista, CA.

At RetroBlades, we firmly believe in sustainability and healing the environment, which is why we use recycled materials for all of our wrapping and shipping needs. Additionally, all of our merchandise is gently used recycled clothing from the early 1800s through the 2000s.

We closed our Playa Vista doors in 2024 but are excited to open a new retail space in West Hollywood. We've leased our space and now we are crowdfunding so we can renovate. We are looking forward to reopening and to continue sharing our love of vintage with our community.
