Join Us in Remembering Sweet Aaliyah

As you may have heard, and for those of you who haven't yet, we lost our sweet Aaliyah on April 19th, 2025, just over a month shy of her 16th birthday. She was such a loving, bright, sweet, stubborn, funny, and most of all, strong girl. Her smile lit up any room she walked into.

As most of you know, she didn't have an easy beginning to life. Born premature with a heart condition, she had 3 heart surgeries, countless heart caths, and a 3-day venture on ECMO. Plus, she suffered 3 strokes. And through it all, she was still a shining light in everyone's life she met.

We aren't supposed to have to plan our babies' funerals, and that's exactly what I'm doing. Brianna and I could desperately use help right now. I am struggling to figure out how to pay for all the things that come along with losing Aaliyah so suddenly. On top of current day-to-day expenses, simply put, I feel as though I'm drowning.

I have no idea how to ask honestly, but if you can find it in your heart to help us put Aaliyah to rest, we would be forever grateful. Even if you can't help, if you could share this, that would be amazing as well.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Any and everyone who loves Aaliyah will be welcome when the time comes.
