It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Loren — a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and steadfast presence in so many lives. Loren was a protector by nature, someone who showed up with strength, compassion, and quiet wisdom. He was deeply devoted to his family, fiercely loyal to those he loved, and always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear.

Loren was also a proud and dedicated business owner. He poured his heart into his work — not just for success, but for the people behind it. He affectionately referred to his crews as “his guys,” and he meant it. To Loren, they were more than employees; they were friends, extended family, and a part of something bigger than just a job. He led with integrity, built trust, and created a working environment rooted in respect and care.

Loren’s heart for service extended far beyond his home and business. Through mission work in Africa, he gave his time, resources, and love to communities in need — never seeking recognition, only moved by a deep sense of purpose. Whether across the world or in his own backyard, Loren lived a life defined by selflessness and generosity.

He made people feel safe simply by being there — offering reassurance, protection, and steadiness in times of need. That presence, that sense of being looked after, is something we all feel the loss of now.

At the center of Loren’s life was his wife, Terri. Their bond was the foundation of everything he did. As Terri faces this unimaginable loss, we are rallying around her in the same spirit of love and support that Loren extended to everyone in his life.

This fund has been created to honor Loren’s legacy with the dignity and care he so deeply deserves. Any contribution is received with heartfelt gratitude.

Thank you for being part of the community Loren loved so deeply — and for helping us honor his legacy by extending the care he so generously gave to others.

We will be celebrating Loren's life and legacy this Saturday, May 17th at 12pm at First Baptist Church Chappell Hill (7675 FM 2447 Chappell Hill, Texas 77426).

With love and thanks,
The Hill Family
