Join Us in Rebuilding Adventure Outdoors for Mark

Calling all campers and adventurers of Adventure Outdoors in Steelville, Missouri and anyone who just loves the outdoors and helping people. This past November of 2024 historical flooding devastated state parks and other areas. The flood demolished Adventure Outdoors’ main office and caused severe erosion in campground and parking lot with water levels reaching 18 inches in the bathhouse. The owner, Mark, is one of those people who will always help someone, whether it’s to give you a break on camping or floating. He truly wants everyone to have a great time, and it shows by the repeat customers that have been coming to Adventure Outdoors for years.

Unfortunately, the high cost of flood insurance is not affordable, and this has left a financial burden to be paid out-of-pocket. To add insult to injury, thieves stole copper wiring, which is another costly expense.

Any help is appreciated, whether it be your donation of money, time, or materials. Several people have offered to assist Mark with reconstructing Adventure Outdoors, and he will be needing your skills to install electrical boxes, remove debris, do concrete work, and more. We are hoping to start in April, weather depending and will keep everyone updated when work will begin. Thank you for your continued support.
