Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I write to you with a heart heavy yet hopeful, as my beloved friend Kap Shin embarks on one of the toughest battles of his life against stomach cancer. Kap is not just a mentor but a beacon of strength and wisdom to all who have had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering dedication to his community, his infectious jokes and laughter, as well as his guidance have touched countless lives including my own.

In the face of this illness, Kap’s spirit remains unyielding. He approaches each day with bravery and determination, inspiring us all with his resilience.
