Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Strangers,

Last May, our dear Carolee Cannata was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The diagnosis was shocking and unexpected, especially, as just a week before, she was running through a field with her dog, Giorgia. We’ve since learned what a tricky and invasive disease pancreatic cancer can be.

Carolee and Joe Galluzzi beautifully found each other 10 years ago, wedding on the beach on Cape Cod in June 2018. Joe has been tirelessly by her side as they’ve searched for the best care possible. They have scoured their networks, and their network’s network, to learn all they can about this disease. The best medical professionals from Yale, Sloan Kettering, and Dana-Farber have all come together to find and administer the best treatments possible. While this medical expertise has been invaluable, it has come at a cost.

Prayers and positive thoughts have been heartfelt and much needed, but we are reaching out to you with an additional plea for support. The associated costs and related expenses are substantial, placing a significant financial strain on Carolee and Joe. To assist them during this trying time, we are initiating this GoFundMe campaign.
