Join Us in Praying for Leroy's Healing

Hi my name is Emily and I’m starting this GoFundMe me for my family Marissa and Will Votruba and there son Leroy Update
Yesterday around 6pm we decided to take Leroy into St. Mary's to be evaluated again. He was working harder to breathe and he was having issues keeping anything down. When we arrived his stats were doing good. We waited in the waiting area for over an hour and in that hour his pulse and O2 dropped. Once we got into a room in the ER they started him on heated high flow and had used their vacuum to try and suck out his nose. He was not responding to the high flow the way they hoped he would and his CO2 levels were way to high after an hour of being on high flow. Around 10pm they made the decision transfer him to children's hospital in Denver via care flight. We left junction around 2am this morning. During the flight they kept having to help stimulate his chest to help keep him breathing and keep his pulse up. They made the call to intubate him once we landed. Once we landed they tried twice to get him intubated and they could not get it. When we arrived at children's they got him intubated and started on a ventilator and they did a chest Xray. The Xray showed a blockage in his right lung. He is currently heavily sedated and laying on his side to see if that helps move the blockage.
This all still new, all still scary.
I'm so beyond thankful I was able to fly with mister man and even more thankful that my husband was right behind us in arriving to children's with Aurora. And there are no amount of words I could express of appreciation to those who are helping with the kiddos and the dogs. This is not what we thought was going to happen, but we are happy he is getting the help he so desperately needed.

Not the update we would hope for, but here's what we have
The doctor came in and said that he's not trying to breathe on his own that the machine is doing all the work. She is running more blood work to see if there is an infection somewhere else. His CO2 is back up to 69. They will also be doing a spinal tap and urine sample to check and see if that comes back clear or not. They are starting him on some antibiotics while they wait for test results.
We could use all the prayers.

A large update this morning, they did all the tests from last night and found in the secretions from his ventilator that it is growing bacteria. They have ramped up the antibiotics to try and fight the bacteria. When they did blood work this morning they found his red blood cell count to be low, so they are deciding if he needs a blood transfusion. They started lowering the amount of help the ventilator is providing and he has been showing great improvements of breathing on his own. They also noted his blood gas level has been coming down which is also great. He gave us the scare of a lifetime as Marissa and I came around the corner in the hospital he was in code blue with about 25 doctors and nurses swarmed around him. He had a mucus plug in his ventilator that caused his oxygen levels to drop and his heart rate to drop.
After talking to the doctors this morning he will be here for several days and with any luck we will slowly get off the ventilator over the next 2 days.
