UPDATE: Jeff is doing great. His recovery has been a blessing! Jeff has returned to work last week, however we are three months behind on everything. We have reached out to the trustee and they have helped as much as they can.
We are in need of assistance with our bills, gas, household products ( laundry soap. Shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, toilet paper etc). If you are able to help even with a few dollars we will be forever grateful! GOD IS GOOD!!
Thank you and God Bless you!
My name is Lisa D. Neville, and my husband is Jeff Neville. On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Jeff woke up in extreme pain in his head and chest. We called 911 and took him to the ER at IU Carmel. We found he had an aortic tear, from the top of his heart (aortic valve) down his abdomen to his groin. The tear then turned into a massive aneurysm, which then ruptured in a few areas. He was life-flighted to IU Methodist in Indianapolis. They took Jeff straight into an enormous emergency open-heart surgery to repair the tear and rupture. The surgery lasted approximately 6 hours. As a result of the aortic dissection, Jeff is now on Dialysis.
Jeff is home now, however, we have to do outpatient dialysis three times a week. He is still recovering from the massive surgery and can not go back to work. His open-heart surgery will require a minimum of 8 weeks for the sternum to heal, not including the internal tears, grafts, and surgery. Jeff works at the GETGO in Sheridan. He cannot return to work for a while, if at all. The Neville Family has to travel back and forth for dialysis, they still have to maintain their home, bills, animals, and children through this nightmare. If you can donate or assist, the family would greatly appreciate it. We will accept gift cards, gas cards, donations, food, and help with our bills.
The family also asks for anyone who can say a prayer to PLEASE do so for Jeff and his caretakers, Lisa, Joey, Misha, and Michael.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts, prayers, and assistance.
The Neville Family
