Attire:
Please wear vibrant colors, because Adia was a cheerful girl. Her favorite colors were teal, pink, and purple. Her family will be wearing a memorial shirt we have designed in her honor.
If you would like to purchase one of your own, here are links to the design in a few color options: The Last Word is Love (teal) - The Last Word is Love (pink) - The Last Word is Love (black)
The phrase “But You always have the last word, and the last word is Love” comes from a song, Before & After, featuring Amanda Cook (one of Adia’s favorite artists) and with a touching meaning. God always has the last word.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Make a Wish Foundation and help make another kid smile.

Unfortunately, our sweet little girl passed into heaven on 9/1/25.
We were in New York City to fulfill a wish of hers to go to the American Girl store, which she got to do on 8/30. She had a great day!
Sunday 8/31 was catastrophic. It is a mercy that she did not suffer long.
We want to reiterate our gratitude for all the prayers and support through this challenging experience. Thank you.

Believing we are following God into the next season of our lives, we have relocated from FL to Greenville, SC this summer of 2025. Unfortunately, the very next day after we moved the family to Greenville, SC in June we discovered that Adia has a brain tumor. The type and location of the cancer she is dealing with is considered scientifically incurable.
We do serve a God who does miracles, and our Lord Jesus does heal what doctors cannot. So we ask first that you join us in prayer: His kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven, and there is no cancer in heaven. Adia's healing was purchased by the wounds of Jesus, and she has every right to experience that healing now, not just in our hope of eternal life. By faith in the name of Jesus, we command cancer to go. She will live a long, full, healthy life!
In the midst of our unknown future, Karen will be taking leave from her job as a school teacher in order to be home with Adia and support her medical needs.
We are asking for your help financially during this unexpected season as we are temporarily a single income family. While we invest in doing what is best for our daughter, we need your help covering our monthly expenses.
Over the years we have chosen to be consistently generous to others. Now, if you can help us during this time that we need the support of your generosity, we would greatly appreciate your gifts!
