Join Us in Praying for Abby Winston's Healing

I'm Julie Durham, and I'm starting a GoFundMe for my dear friend, Abby Winston, and her family. Abby had a very severe medical episode today, Aug 15, and is in the hospital in serious condition.
Update 8/16/24 at 10am from Stephen:
Good morning, Abby had a good night last night and doesn’t look like there were any seizures. She did have a fever but they took care of that. She did have a small episode that they gave her seizure meds for but it was pretty much at the normal dose time anyway. Today she is staying sedated and resting while neurosurgeon looks over all tests to form an action plan. The tumor is still small and they may opt to do an outpatient surgery but that is still unknown until all tests are completed. They said the tumor may not be the cause of the seizures and are running all kinds of tests to identify the exact issue. We may not have an update until tomorrow.
Riley is doing good, she stayed with me last night while my sister stayed with Abby Winston overnight. Riley is at school and I will pick her up and do dinner and then come back up as the ICU shuts down from 6-8 for shift change. Works perfect actually. Ashley Dumond Jones and Amanda Porter have been so amazing with helping me keep Abby company while I step away to be with Riley.
With that said I just want to take a moment and thank every single one of you for all your love, prayers and support during this difficult time for our family. Thank you Julie Durham for starting this gofundme for us as I know we will definitely need this help as well. Thank you to everyone that can donate and please do not feel like you have to, your prayers and love are all we need to get through this!
Delores Bailey and Emanuel Earls thank you so much for blessing Riley and I with some extra cash for a nice dinner. Riley chose Olive Garden and ate like a queen! The best part was I asked her if she wanted desert or to bless the waitress with a nice tip and she chose to bless her! I even said we can still have dessert and tip a normal tip and she said “let’s bless her dad”! We were able to do that and bless another person that helped us as well! Melts my heart!
We have such an amazing community of family and friends and I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve all done for us!
Here's the latest update on Abby (12pm on 8/15/24):
Just putting an update. Abby fell this morning and had a seizure, lost consciousness, heart stopped, and breathing stopped as well. Thank God for the quick-thinking staff that used the AED and administered CPR until pandemics arrived. When the pandemic got there, they got her breathing on her own and found her pulse. They sent her to the ER and she was still having seizures, so they gave meds to help with seizures and also heavily sedated her. While at the ER they found a tumor on her brain that needs to look at by a neurologist. They just transferred her to the downtown main Hilcrest where they will do MRI and keep her on a ctt to monitor her brain activity. They may do a biopsy or remove the tumor, but we will not know for a few hours.
At this time, please reach out to my sister Ashley Dumond Jones or Amanda Porter for updates. My sister is at the hospital now and I do not mind if any family wants to come visit. Just please reach out to Ashley first.
Thank you all for your continued prayers, love and support. It means the world to me and my family. We are tough and have proven we can handle some pretty hard times. We know this because God has our family in is hands and always makes sure we are blessed.

Many of you know Abby as someone who never meets a stranger! She is the most God-fearing, loving person I have ever known. Abby is joyful, spunky, kind, compassionate, and always willing to give her all to help others in need. Now, the Winston family needs our support!
Let's unite and support Stephen, Riley, and Abby as they face unexpected medical expenses, food, gas, and other costs to alleviate some of the burden on their shoulders. Any amount helps! Please keep the Winstons in your prayers and ask for God’s divine intervention to heal Abby and for the medical team that is treating Abby!
