My name is Rebekah Ruth. My husband, Josh Ruth, has been battling cancer since February 2024. He had a fall from a tree with multiple fractures along his vertebrae and ribs. We took a trip to the emergency room, and after x-rays, they found a mass on his lung and several lymph nodes that were malignant. They also found several places on his liver and spleen that, to this day, remain a mystery. We are praising the Lord for this incident, because without it, we may have never know he was sick with cancer. PTL! He was out of work for a while due his injuries and then began chemotheray and immunotherapy. He did four rounds of treatments and recently had a major surgery to remove 20-25% of his lung as well as additional lymph nodes surrounding his lung. As of these last several days, we found out that the cancer has spread. Seven lymph nodes are malignant, and there are still major concerns about his liver and spleen. We are currently waiting on more test results to see what the next steps will be. This process will take about 3-4 weeks to see results. This, of course, isn't at all what we wanted to hear. This journey has been hard and very long thus far, but The Lord has been so very faithful. We know that He has gone before us and we completely trust that Josh will be healed. I pray that whatever the outcome will be, that God will receive all the glory and praise. Josh is in good spirits. He is still in some pain, but has been cleared to slowly ease back into working minimal jobs. With that being said, we very humbly ask for your help. Mostly, we need prayer. Please pray that Josh's Oncologist, Dr. O, will find whatever is causing the cancer and will be able to treat it properly. Please pray for complete healing. We also humbly ask for financial assistance. No amount is too small. Josh is self employed and does not have medical insurance. He works extremely hard, and not being able to work at his regular pace has been tough on him. We are doing the best we can to pay bills, but they tend to show up in our mailbox almost daily. These bills will continue to come with his recent surgery and upcoming treatments. The thought is overwhelming. We would be so very grateful for any assistance.

We are beyond blessed with friends and family who have reached out with meals, financial assistance, and with an abundance of prayer thus far. The last thing we want is to be a burden to anyone, so please do not feel obligated. If you can just cover us in prayer, we would be immensely grateful.
