If you know my dad then you know he has always had a big heart. He has never hesistated to help a friend or family in need. He has been there for many people. The man has the patience of a saint, a heart of gold, and the best sense of humor of anyone I’ve ever known. But now I am reaching out on his behalf because he now needs our help.

My dad had been battling Congestive Heart Failure. This disease significantly impacted his quality of life. He was not be able to do the things he loves since the diagnosis. Despite ongoing treatments with medications, and many long hospital stays it became clear that a heart transplant was the only viable option for a chance at a healthier, longer life. After a few dry calls we finally got THE call and he finally underwent a heart and kidney transplant. Now we are dealing with the recovery process.

During this time my mom has been the main financial support. She continues to work and be there for my dad when she can. My dad will need lots of help when he finally comes home and I want my mom to be able to be there without having to worry about any financials. Any donation you make will help with costs associated with things that insurance will not cover including pre- and post transplant care, medications, rehab, and travel for visits to the transplant center.
