Queridos amigos y familia,

En octubre de 2024, mi papá, Oscar Ramirez, empezó a sentir una falla respiratoria y asistió al médico para un chequeo. Luego de aproximadamente un mes, innumerables visitas médicas con especialistas, estudios y una cirugía, fue diagnosticado con cáncer en un pulmón.

Esta enfermedad requiere de más estudios y el tratamiento adecuado. El apoyo de nuestra familia y amigos ha sido vital, pues muchos medicamentos y estudios deben ser buscados fuera de San Cristóbal, Táchira, o del país Venezuela, lo cual requiere del traslado de mi papá y familiares que lo acompañen, quienes han estado presentes ayudando a mis hermanos.

Con 69 años de edad, ha sido un hombre saludable, activo y siempre ayudando a quien necesita. Con mucha fe y soporte de todos, vamos a salir de esta enfermedad.

El tratamiento iniciará este mes, empezando con la primera quimioterapia, la cual es el comienzo del proceso de recuperación.

Cómo podemos ayudar:

Nuestra familia está buscando el apoyo de todos en este momento. Sus hijos, familia y amigos hemos estado presentes. Sin embargo, serán necesarios más estudios, tratamientos, medicinas y pagos médicos. Cualquier ayuda, no importa cuál sea, hará una gran diferencia.

Los fondos recopilados de esta plataforma serán usados para: estudios médicos, tratamientos en el hospital, rehabilitación, traslados, medicinas, citas médicas.

Tenemos la suerte de tener una comunidad que ha estado presente y orando por él.

In October 2024, my dad, Oscar Ramirez, began to feel breathing problems and went to the doctor for a check-up. After about a month and countless medical visits with different specialists, tests, and surgery, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

This disease requires further tests and the appropriate treatment. The support of our family and friends has been vital since many medications and tests must be found outside of San Cristobal, Tachira, or the country of Venezuela.

My dad is 69 years old and a healthy, active man who is always helping those in need. With a lot of faith and support from everyone, we will get over this disease.

The treatment will begin this month, starting with the first chemotherapy, which is the beginning of the recovery process.

How we can help: Our family is seeking everyone's support now. His children, family, and friends have been with him. However, more tests, treatments, medicines, and follow-up doctor appointments are needed. Any help will make a big difference.
