Help Noah Heal After His Heart Transplant
On August 13, 2025, our beloved Noah—just 23 years old—underwent a life-saving heart transplant. While the surgery was a success, the journey ahead is long, challenging, and costly. We're reaching out to our community with open hearts to help raise $50,000 to support Noah’s recovery and the overwhelming medical expenses that come with it.
Why Noah Needs Your Help
Noah’ was born with a rare Congenital Heart Disease called Coronary Artery Fistula. The Fistula went undetected until the age of 17. As a result Noah had to undergo open heart surgery in 2020 to clap the Fistula. As a result, Noah suffered a near fatal heart attack and unfortunately a few weeks later he had to undergo another open heart surgery. For the last five years Noah has lived with Chronic Systolic Left Heart Failure, Chronic HFfEF (heart Failure with reduced ejection fraction, and Ischemic Cardiomyopathy. Eventually Noah’s heart could no longer serve him and doctors told us the only option to save Noah’s life would be a Heart Transplant.
What started as a small case of seasonal Asthma to Urgent Care fatigue and shortness of breath escalated into a diagnosis of severe heart failure. Doctors told us that a transplant was his only chance. After years of uncertainty, Noah received a donor heart on August 13—a miracle we’ll never forget.
But the fight isn’t over.
• Post-surgery care includes frequent hospital visits, lab tests, and monitoring.
• Anti-rejection medications are critical and incredibly expensive.
• Rehabilitation and therapy will help Noah regain strength and independence.
• Living expenses during recovery are mounting, as the family will have to stay in a hotel to be closer to Noah as he recovers and initially when he is discharged. .
How You Can Make a Difference
Noah is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet—funny, thoughtful, and full of life. He dreams of breeding dogs and one day riding a bull. Your donation, no matter the size, will help give Noah the second chance he’s fought so hard for.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Every bit of support counts.
From Our Family to Yours
We’re deeply grateful for your love, prayers, and generosity. Watching Noah fight with such courage has been humbling, and we know he’ll come out stronger with the help of people like you.
Let’s help Noah heal—and give his new heart the future it deserves.
With love and thanks,
Nyah Barrett & Family
