Hi, I am Pastor Joel Madasu, the younger brother of Pastor Jonathan Madasu. I am helping my brother and his family raise these funds to pay off the medical bills. We would truly appreciate your help and support.

My brother, Jonathan Madasu, has always been on fire for the Lord. He was always passionate about proclaiming the Word of God. He's been serving the Lord by pastoring, evangelism, and church planting. After my father passed away three years ago, he took the full-time pastoral role at Crown Baptist Church, along with his evangelism, church planting, and missional ministry.

On Monday, he went for his diabetes checkup, a usual checkup in the nearby city of Vijayawada. Usually, he leaves at 5 AM since it is roughly a two-hour journey. But that day it was late, so he thought he should stay home and go another day. But God has a different plan. He left for the checkup. After reaching the hospital, waiting in line for his turn, he felt uneasy in his chest. He started sweating. But he did not notice that it had to do with his heart. The nurse who was testing his blood said, "What is up with you, sir? You seem like an Army General, but are nervous about needles, and you are sweating! Are you ok?" My brother said, Yes, I think I am fine. But he doesn't know.

So, he thought he should just go home. But his youngest daughter, who is going to college in the same city, called him and said, "Daddy, come see me." So, he went. His daughter, Joy, was with my mom and sister. As soon as he walked upstairs, which he was not able to do, he dropped onto the couch and asked them to take him to the hospital. My mom thought he was giving a hug. But when she touched him, he was cold and sweating. So they took him to a nearby major hospital. God knows what was happening. We thank him for leading my brother to the clinic in time.

They immediately took him to the examination room, tested him, and placed stents in his heart. He has been in the clinic since Monday and has a temporary pacemaker. Doctors decided to place a pacemaker and consider the possibility of an ICD.

It is difficult for us all (family) to see him in this state. But we all know circumstances are not in our control. Please consider giving to this fund to help my brother.

May the Lord bless you.
