Hello, my names Diane and I’m Lena honickers sister, as some know Lena is currently hospitalized at geisinger in the Nuero ICU.

on 9/28 she was taking by ambulance for severe back pain but little did any of us know that would turn into so much more, she experienced a stroke and later that night she was intubated..

fast forward to 10/8 she was extubated, which thought improvement was showing as she was keeping her eyes open and attempting to whisper some words.. but as of 10/10 she is unresponsive, no longer opening eyes or even attempting to, which is possibly a result of the brain bleeds and high ammonia levels.

through out the years Lena has done a lot to help her community, donating time cooking at local bars, worked at the borough of kulpmont as the secretary for many years and was the tax lady in the heights.. she would do anything to help anyone if in need.

I am asking that if in any possible way people could come together now and help her as she has a long road ahead to recover.
