Hello friends, family, and people who have been moved to come onto this page. My name is Jessica-rose. I’m one of the daughters of my beautiful mother Lea Transfeld. Tuesday evening around 6:50 PM. My mother collapsed and had a severe seizure she became unresponsive and my dad within minutes was able to call the ambulance and get her the help she needed. This wasn’t just any ordinary seizure and it wasn’t something that we have ever dealt with to preface. My mother is extremely healthy eats right fills her mind, spirit and body with good things so needless to say this became an immediate shock when our family received the call that our mother was in the ER when I got to the hospital, I was able to see her with my dad shortly after and it was very hard seeing my mother in this condition. Her face didn’t look like it had any life in it, but I knew immediately that this was going to be something that God was going to use and in the process bring forward a miraculous moment out of this. It was hard seeing not just my mother, but my father in a vulnerable state like that. The doctors and nurses couldn’t figure out what was going on. They were wanting to run multiple tests and so they decided to put her in the ICU that night and I went home I got a call at 2 AM as I wasn’t able to sleep from my father saying that she had more seizures and they were severe at this point. The doctors suggested that my mom needed help breathing and needed to be put on medication’s and tools to help her and keep her alive. You know when you have the uncertainty, whether someone who you love so dearly like a mother will make it or not no matter how much faith you have. It still is so heavy so I spent most of that night praying specifically speaking to my mother “mom you will live and not die. We need you here. You still have so much more life to live and the Lord is breathing new life in you right now I know it.” my dad and I have been able to visit my mom a few times and the good news is the doctors and nurses told us that she is recovering. She even woke up for the first time yesterday!! It’s still going to take some time and we don’t know yet when she’s going to leave the hospital, but according to her nurses, everyone was in shock that this happened to her because she was so healthy and had no history of anything. I know God is going to continue to use my mom’s story as she recovers as she heals and I invite anyone who wants to be a part of the story to do so whether that’s through praying, giving, Calling, texting commenting on our social media posts. It really is going to take a village to shave off a lot of these unexpected costs presently and in the future. I don’t have a whole lot of information pertaining to my mother, but I know this God is on the move. God is restoring her and God will get the glory in all of this. I invite you to join us on this journey and watch God show off like we know he will. I will do my best to post as many updates as possible as well as photos on social media when I can grab some. Thank you for taking the time to read this. My family is so comforted and encouraged by everyone who will be part of this journey with us. Just know we love each and everyone of you and greatly appreciate whatever you choose to do.
