Help Us Save King – Our Brave Rescue Shepherd

Just seven days ago, we welcomed King, a beautiful and gentle German Shepherd, into our home after rescuing him from a life of uncertainty. What was supposed to be a routine neuter surgery quickly turned into a nightmare. King developed life-threatening complications, including a severe infection and a dangerous blood clotting disorder (DIC), which has left him critically ill.

He’s already endured multiple vet visits, emergency care, and intensive treatment, racking up thousands of dollars in medical bills—and his fight is far from over. Despite the support of a wonderful nonprofit helping us with part of his care, we’re financially drained and emotionally overwhelmed.

Our family is no stranger to medical challenges—between managing our own ongoing health treatments and trying to stay afloat, we’ve reached the point where we simply can’t afford the continuing costs of saving King’s life on our own. But we won’t give up on him. He’s shown us he wants to live—he just needs a chance.

King is the kind of dog who still wags his tail through the pain, who leans into love even after all he’s been through. He deserves a life full of safety, comfort, and care—not more suffering.
