Help Support Kevin in His Fight Against Cancer
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out today to ask for your help for someone who means a lot to us—our friend Kevin.
Kevin is one of those rare people who’s always there for others. Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing a laugh, or offering support when it’s needed most, Kevin gives generously without ever asking for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
In December 2024, Kevin was diagnosed with Type B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma—an aggressive form of cancer. Since then, he has lost over 45 pounds and has been undergoing intense treatment. Despite the weight of this diagnosis, Kevin remains strong, but the physical, emotional, and financial toll has been overwhelming.
Kevin is hoping to pursue CAR T-cell therapy, a promising but demanding new treatment that will require him to be out of work for at least a month or more. As someone who has worked hard in our community for years, Kevin isn’t used to asking for help—and honestly, he finds it difficult. But right now, he needs us.
We’re trying to raise $75,000 to help cover Kevin’s medical bills and living expenses while he undergoes treatment and recovery. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping Kevin stay afloat during this time, so he can focus on what matters most: fighting this disease and healing.
Kevin is a quiet soul with a dry wit, a bit of a cynical streak, and a love for painting and music—especially the drums and guitar. He’s kind and generous to the people he cares about, even if he might roll his eyes while doing it. He may not be the first to ask for help, but if you know him, you know how much he’s given to others without hesitation.
He’s also a former smoker—something he gave up for good, and we couldn’t be prouder of him for that. It wasn’t easy, but it shows his determination and strength. That same strength is what’s going to carry him through this fight.
No donation is too small. If you can’t give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who might be able to help. The more people who hear Kevin’s story, the more support we can rally.
Let’s show Kevin he’s not alone in this fight. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
