Join Us in Kelly Craig-Edwards' Fight Against Cancer

Kelly Craig-Edwards was diagnosed with breast cancer this past September. To know Kelly is to love her. She is the wife of Meechie Edwards and mother to Denali, Dace, and Donika. She is also the proud stepmother of Dyricus Edwards, Derria Edwards, and Destini Edwards-Colvin.

Kelly is also known in the Peoria community for coaching the Peoria High girls basketball team with Meechie. In March 2023, they led the Lions to a third-place finish at the Class 3A state finals.

Kelly discovered she had cancer after undergoing successful spinal surgery at the end of August.As a result, she had radiation treatments and started 4 months of chemotherapy on October 14. 

Chemotherapy is tough on anyone, even someone as tenacious as Kelly. She will need to take time off work to focus on her health, and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tight. 

Kelly is one of the strongest, most selfless people we have ever known and is always there to give her love and support to anyone who needs it. Now, it's time to give back to Kelly the way she has always given to us.
