On May 9th, 2025, during a routine vet visit, our sweet Jelly Bean was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma—an aggressive and painful bone cancer. Without treatment, she may only have weeks to live. We are heartbroken by this news as Jelly is our family’s protector, Leo’s best friend, and our first baby.
After consulting with her vets, we’ve made the difficult but hopeful choice to amputate her leg this Friday, May 23rd, 2025. This is the only option to remove the cancer and give her more time to enjoy the things she loves most: snuggling with Leo, popping squeakers out of squeaky toys, and protecting our family from shadows… and bikes.
The cost is overwhelming. The surgery alone is $3,254.60—not including follow-up care, chemo, and meds. As a young and growing family, this is why we are asking for help.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to Jelly’s care. And if you can’t donate, sharing her story means the world to us.
Thank you for giving Jell a fighting chance.
