Brothers Mine:
As you know well, the Gamma Chapter is the third oldest chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and has a rich history. That notwithstanding, Gamma has gone silent on four occasions, most recently in 2019. However, we are proud to announce that on April 25, 2026 the President of the Pi Kappa Alpha international fraternity, Larry W. Eby, and other distinguished officers of Pike’s international organization, will come to Williamsburg to formally recharter the Gamma Chapter. The good news is that this has all come about rather suddenly, and the bad news is that this has all come about rather suddenly.
The chapter wishes to hold a banquet in Williamsburg on Saturday evening after the rechartering ceremony earlier that day, but an event of this type is expensive. Plus, the undergraduate brothers have other chartering related costs, including initiation fees and acquiring new ritual regalia. Therefore, Gamma alumni, including Andy Morse and chapter advisor Ray Hogge, are providing financial support to make the event affordable for our undergraduate brothers, and we asking other Gamma alumni to consider doing the same. All donated funds will be received, managed, and distributed by the chapter advisor.
If, by good fortune and good management, any sponsorship funds are not fully used for the rechartering banquet, those monies will be set aside to assist the chapter officers to attend this summer’s Pi Kappa Alpha international convention, where the Gamma leaders will be presented the formal framed charter in front of the entire international fraternity assembled.
We have established five levels of sponsorship support:
"Fredrick Southgate Taylor Sponsor": $1,000 and above
"Littleton Waller Tazewell Sponsor": $500 to $999
"Robert Morton Hughes Sponsor : $250 to $499
"Steven Cowart Sponsor": $101 to $250
One Brother Sponsor: $100
Other support as desired is welcomed…
Please make a generous donation to support our Pike brothers who have worked so hard to bring the Gamma Chapter back to William & Mary. If you have any questions, please contact the chapter advisor, Ray Hogge, at Hogge Law, 500 E. Main Street, Suite 1200, Norfolk, Virginia 23510.
