On behalf of Veronique and Aric, we are raising money to support the Popovich family in the loss of their only child, Hailey Michelle Popovich, 13 months.

Hailey was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease and right heart failure. She was in and out of the PICU for a month while the teams at Saint Joseph’s and John Hopkins worked to discover what was causing her to be so sick. Hailey fought long and hard, and was the bravest patient throughout her journey. She unfortunately succumbed to the severity of the damage to her lungs and heart and passed away peacefully in her mother’s arms on September 19th, 2024.

If you ask anyone who knew Hailey, they will tell you that Hailey was the perfect baby. She was quite literally the life of the party. Veronique and Aric took her everywhere with them, and she was happy to be along for the ride. She rarely screamed or cried, she was always laughing or smiling. She loved playing peek a boo, she loved waving and blowing kisses, and called everyone “Dada”. She loved playing with Joey and throwing her food on the floor for him. Hailey loved her mom and dad endlessly. She was a ray of sunshine and the most beautiful little girl. She captured everyone’s hearts that were lucky enough to know her.

We are raising money to help support Veronique and Aric in these unimaginable times. They need help to cover her extensive medical bills and funeral expenses. Please consider donating to help ease the burden of this loss. We are grateful for any and all contributions.
