Hello family and friends,

The Bohannon family will be going through some trying times for at least 6-8 months. Chris was recently diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma a very rare cancer and will be undergoing heavy radiation and chemotherapy. He will be staying at the hospital for 7 days straight every 3 weeks while receiving his treatment in Gainesville. This means there will be travel, food, and medical bills that any bit we can help with will be less stress for Chris, Jennifer, and the kids.

As many of you know, Chris has been a police officer for 17 years, and before that, he was in the Army on active duty for 3 years and 3 years with the National Guard. He was deployed to Iraq from 2005 through 2006 for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Chris and Jennifer have three beautiful kids: Liam (19), Emily (15), and Katie (13). Chris is a doting father and loves to be there for his kids in any capacity they need him to be. He and his family have a small homestead where he actively plays a role in keeping up with the land and animals.
