This is my amazing brother and his beautiful family. Last June, my brother was whisked away to the ER with abdominal pain. After testing, he received the shocking news that he had colon cancer. As you can imagine, this has flipped their whole world upside down. He had some major complications from his surgery and then had to go in for a life-saving surgery. After a long stay in the hospital and many ER visits, you can only imagine the strain on their family physically, mentally, and financially.

My brother is the kindest, most Christlike man I have ever met. He is my hero, always has been, and always will be. I hate to see him suffer and literally fight for his life. He has been too weak to even receive chemo, but is working hard each day to make himself stronger. Unfortunately, there is still cancer in his body and the fight is not over. He will be starting chemo within the next few weeks, this will be another intense journey. The beautiful life rug they have planted under them has been ripped out violently and they are trying to hold on. We don’t know what all of this will bring, but we know the Lord is in charge. I pray we can all find peace and comfort in the Lord's will and His timing!
