A dancer, instructor, choreographer, producer, mentor, wife, mother, and friend, Elaine has been there for all of us and now we are coming together to help her.

These funds will help to alleviate the stress and costs of funding a total hip replacement, roughly $22,000, but these funds will also help with her healing as she will need a month off of work (and bills still need to be paid) and assistance with her 2 1/2 year old, Piper.

She has been in pain for far too long and as the surgeon asked, after discovering that she was bone on bone, "how are you even walking?" Her response, "I'm a dancer. We have to move." As you can imagine, her work has already suffered due to pain and limited abilities but she has continued to move and do what she can. Movement is her career and life.

Her surgery is scheduled for May 26th and by then she will need $14,000 (she has half of that saved currently) and then she will be putting the remaining balance of roughly $9,000 on a payment plan.
