Help Us Reach Children in the Dominican Republic

During our recent Vacation Bible School, the children at our church raised $2,075 to help children in the Dominican Republic. This has inspired us to do more, and now we’re inviting others to join them.

Recently, Marcelo and I traveled to the Dominican Republic, where we met with missionaries serving children in their communities. We also delivered school supplies and saw firsthand how much they are needed.

A simple notebook costs about 95 cents, but when many families earn around $300 a month, even basic school supplies can be difficult to afford. Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces as they received those supplies was unforgettable.

One thing I couldn’t stop thinking about was seeing the children playing outside after the service. They were full of joy, despite having so little. One more thing that stuck out was that during our time there, I did not meet any parents.

Every donation will help provide school supplies and support a Vacation Bible School where children will learn and grow. Together, we can invest in the next generation and help create opportunities that can change a child’s future.
