Help “Johnny” Fight CANCER,

As a sophomore in high school, going from waking up with excitement for Baseball Season to arrive, to the next going in and out of the hospital for 4 months in severe pain, losing weight every day, unable to eat, unable to walk, unable to do daily tasks, completing numerous tests, just to be told everything is normal… After 4 long months my son struggled not knowing what odds were against Us, Until one day he woke up not even able to recognize himself. What used to be a happy 15-year-old silly, outgoing, loving, big little brother to someone I couldn’t recognize anymore, from 230 lbs to 130 lbs. Finally, after 4 months, a colonoscopy test was ordered. After 2 weeks of waiting for results, I received a phone call at 6:00 pm from his doctor being told to rush him to the Philadelphia Children’s Hospital Immediately with urgency. He would meet us there!

I screamed, asking the doctor what did they find, what is happening. What normally takes 15-minute drive to Philadelphia felt like a lifetime. We got to the hospital and there was the beginning of a journey I couldn’t process. With confusion, with pain, with brokenness, in seconds Johnny was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphoma Cancer.

Our World Turned Upside Down,

Johnny is 1 of 3 Children, in moments we were surrounded by my entire family holding Johnny and I tight assuring us we will get through this,

just a year ago Johnny lost his best friend my mother, his grandmother, We felt her presence in the hospital holding on to us giving us the strength to see the Light on the other side, and even being heartbroken and confused, Johnny raised his head High and comforted our family and told us he will not loose, He will not give up, He was ready to Fight!

And now we ask Will you Join Us in fighting for Johnny! Help the strongest, selfless kid Beat Cancer!
