Join Us In Helping Fredericks Path To Recovery

Good day family,

On the evening of Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, our brother Frederick Gayle was involved in a motorcycle accident in Brooklyn, NY. He was riding when a driver of a large-sized SUV from the opposing traffic made a sudden turn, which didn't give him enough time to stop and avoid hitting the vehicle. He was subsequently crushed by the SUV. He has suffered a severe injury to his cervical spine, which was operated on the following day, along with several broken ribs, a broken arm, and short-term memory loss. He is currently hospitalized in intensive care and has been paralyzed from the waist down. At this moment, it is uncertain if he will ever walk again, and what his quality of life will be moving forward.

Frederick, also known to some as Junior or "J R," is a father to Frederick Jr. and an inspirational figure in his community and family. He was a competitive athlete, a hard worker, and what some would call a jack of all trades. He learned his trades very quickly, and after he learned, he often would help others in need of employment, bringing them along to help and teaching them skills that would help them in the future, such as carpentry, flooring, tile-work, the use of power tools, and so much more while still taking from his own compensation to assist these individuals. He inspired his son Freddy to take on basketball, which he has dedicated much time and effort into becoming as good as his father. He would take Freddy to his games, teach him new skills at the local parks and gyms, and continue to shower him with positivity.

This is just a small testament to the impact Junior has had on the many lives he has touched. We are asking anyone who is able to give a small token to help with the various expenses that will be present in the coming days, months, and years.
