On Saturday, June 27th while enjoying a day out tubing with friends on the St Croix River my son Damon’s wife Erin sustained a back injury, fracturing her L 1 vertebrae. She was life flighted to North Memorial for care and was released Monday after being fitted with a brace. Erin is staying positive and strong however is in severe pain and requires assistance for her daily needs and will not be able to return to work as a nurse for several months while her body heals. She is adjusting to life with restrictions which includes no lifting their six month old son Declan. Damon is not only Declan’s primary caregiver but will be caring for Erin full time and therefore unable to work while also completing his final year of education to become a law enforcement officer.
They both have been working very hard to accomplish their goals and this is being set up to help their little family meet some of the financial needs that have come up for medical expenses, and interruption to their flow of income for this brief season. Please join us in contributing to their peace of mind during this challenging time that they are walking through. Anything that you would consider giving is extremely appreciated. Thank you
We are thankful for all the wonderful meals that have been brought to the house, the many people who have been praying and for the answers to those prayers. God has always been and will always be extremely faithful.
