Join us in supporting Greg, Lisa, and the entire Johnson-Myers family as they navigate Greg's battle with cancer. As many of you know, the Johnson-Myers family is very active in our community, school, and at Family Life Church. Please keep Greg, Lisa, and all eight of their children in prayer and give as you are able.

Lisa has been out of work since May and after nearly three years of debilitating health struggles, Greg was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in his bones and blood. Without any income, the financial burden is heavy.

A note from Greg: Most of you are already aware of my last few year’s of health challenges. It has been quite the adventure to say the least. I recently underwent a complete left hip replacement due to severe osteoarthritis. We thought this would be the last piece of the puzzle towards returning to a normal, healthy life as well as getting back to work. Pathology of the damaged bone yielded a diagnosis of lymphoma, much to our surprise. PET scan results show that it has spread throughout my body quicker than expected. We have an aggressive treatment plan starting in the next couple of weeks. I am confident that with God, all things are possible. I know He will guide and comfort me as He leads me through this upcoming battle.

My wife and I were keeping this information close to the vest for some strange reason. Partly because we didn’t want to speak any power into this disease, and partly because we are still in disbelief this is even happening. We now realize the silliness of this since this is actually the time in our lives we need every last bit of support all of you can provide, be it prayers or just a kind word of encouragement. Yes, I am nervous about what’s coming my way, but I also know the Lord has a greater plan for us. I would especially ask that you keep our children in your thoughts and prayers. I know that none of this has been easy for them to deal with.
