Hi, my name is Nora. I am Greg's fiance, but I'm sure everyone knows, wherever you see Greg, you see me, vice versa. We have been together for 21 years and counting. We have 2 beautiful boys, Gregory III and Patrick. They are the love of our lives.
About 2 months ago, I forced Greg to go to the ER. He had a lump on the right side of his thigh. While we were in the ER, the doctor came in and told us he thinks he has bone cancer. That blew us away. I looked at Greg and told him no matter what, we're going to do everything together, like we always have. They already started Greg on chemo; he gets it 3 days in a row for 24 hours straight. He has to do this every 21 days for 6 sessions. It breaks my heart because I can't fix it. There is nothing I can get him that will make him feel better.
At this moment in our life, Greg was the main provider. I got hurt at work 2 years ago, so I am unable to work right now, but I wish I could. Anyone that lives in Delaware County knows Greg. If you need help, he is there. You need a ride, he is there. You just need someone to talk to, he really is there. He is a phenomenal father. Our son Greg, it was really hard, but he is telling his dad that he knows he is going to beat it, that he will be there always. To me, Greg is my hero, my best friend, my crazy backup. I don't have enough room to tell you all the things this man has done for me. I love him with all my heart. He really is, even now, the strongest person I know.
At this moment, Greg does not have insurance. The doctors at Jefferson offered to do it for free because it is that serious and he can't wait, but he still has to pay for prescriptions, bills, parking, gas, and sometimes even blood work. I am so grateful to the doctors for what they are doing. But Greg and I need some help. We know that there are a lot of our friends and family out here. If you could help or even share it, we would be greatly appreciated. Anything that is donated goes directly to Greg's account. At first, I didn't want to do this, but my friend said to swallow my pride and do it for him. I just want him to know how much people love and care about him.
THERE IS ALSO GOING TO BE A BEEF N BEER MAY 24TH AT THE YARD IN HAVERTOWN. I WILL BE SELLING TICKETS NEXT WEEK. COME AND PARTY. If interested, get ahold of Greg or me.
