I am beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support this sweet boy has already received. A video of him unexpectedly took off, and so many of you felt led to help with his care. Unfortunately, Cash App has begun declining payments, so I created this GoFundMe to make sure anyone who wants to help is able to do so without issues.

This boy doesn’t have a name yet — but he does have a story.

On Christmas Eve, I drove past him, and my heart absolutely broke. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. Two days later, I went back, determined to help, but I was too afraid to approach the house. While there, I spoke with a passerby who confirmed what I feared — this dog had been neglected and physically abused. A report was made, but I never heard anything back, and it became clear that this boy did not have time to spare.

On December 27th, my husband was off work, and we were finally able to go back for him together. He knocked on the door and said “Name a price.” $20 was given — and he was finally free.

He will be seeing the vet on Monday, 12/29, where we’ll get a clearer picture of his condition and what care he urgently needs. Once we have that information, I will update everyone with transparency regarding medical findings and costs.
