Our Story:

In August, our lives changed forever. Joel, a vibrant 10-year-old boy, was tragically and senselessly shot, sustaining a devastating injury at the C2 level of his spinal cord. This horrific event left Joel paralyzed from the neck down. He now requires a tracheostomy tube (trach) and a ventilator to breathe.

Despite this immense challenge, Joel's spirit remains strong, and we believe in the possibility of recovery.

The Journey Ahead: Stem Cell Therapy

Our goal is to get Joel into a specialized stem cell therapy program that offers the best hope for neurological recovery. The journey is long and costly, and we need your help to make it a reality.

The costs involved are substantial and fall outside of what insurance will cover:

Initial Procedure: $20,000

Follow-up Procedures: $7,000 every three months for the first year.

Ongoing Evaluations: Further evaluations and potential treatments after the first year.

We are seeking to raise enough money to cover these initial critical stages of treatment.
