I’m reaching out on behalf of an amazing g woman, Bonnie Johnston. Bonnie is a devoted mother to her three amazing boys, a doting grandmother to one precious grandchild, and a true pillar of kindness in our community. She urgently needs a kidney and liver transplant due to polycystic kidney disease and polycystic liver disease, and we’re seeking living donors and financial support to make this possible.
Bonnie’s heart is as big as they come. For years, she ran a daycare, nurturing countless children with her warmth and care. She’s the kind of person who gives everything to others—whether it’s her time, a home-cooked meal, or a shoulder to lean on. Her faith shines through in her love for her church community, where she’s always ready to lend a hand or share a smile.
Now, Bonnie needs our help. The costs of her transplant surgeries and recovery are daunting, and we’re humbly asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Bonnie the chance to keep spreading her love and light. If you’re interested in being a living donor, please visit LIVINGDONORREG.UPMC.COM and enter Bonnie Johnston’s name to get tested. If you have any questions, please leave a comment on this post, and I will personally reach out to answer them as best I can. Unfortunately, because her condition is genetic, her children cannot donate or be tested.
Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and love. Let’s come together to give this incredible woman the gift of life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Her Loving Family
