To everyone who loves ARC, loves rugby, loves an underdog story, or simply wants to help a group of amazing young men chase something special,

We are asking for your help.

This GoFundMe was created for 40 incredible student-athletes who have worked their hearts out and accomplished something truly special, but are now facing the possibility of not being able to fully live out their dreams because of the cost to get there.

American River Rugby is a self-funded program. Nothing has been handed to these boys. They have earned everything through hard work, sacrifice, and belief in each other. In the last three years, this team has won the NorCal State Championship three years in a row and has built itself into either the number 1 or number 2 team in the country (depending on the poll.)

This year, they have already qualified for the Sevens National Championship, and they are now just one game away from qualifying for the 15s National Championship in Indianapolis.

These boys have done everything the right way. They have put in the work. They have represented their school, their families, and their community with pride. They have already raised enough money to cover the season up to this point, including travel and other team costs. But now, with Nationals within reach, we are faced with our biggest challenge yet.

We need to raise $40,000 to get this team to Nationals.

That number is big, but so is this opportunity. For many of these young men, this is a once in a lifetime chance to compete on the biggest stage, represent ARC, and show the country what this program is all about. They have earned the opportunity. Now we are asking for help to make sure they are able to take it.
