Help Zoey Fight — Support Her Ongoing Veterinary Care
Zoey is currently fighting for her life, and her family needs support during this incredibly difficult time.
Zoey was adopted from a local rescue organization on 2/8/26, within a week it became apparent that Zoey was sick.
What began as a medical emergency has turned into ongoing intensive veterinary care. Zoey now has an NG (nasogastric) feeding tube in place because she still isn’t able to eat on her own. While her lab values are finally starting to trend upward, she is not out of the woods yet. She continues to require hospitalization, close monitoring, medications, and supportive care.
Her family is doing everything they can to give her the best chance at recovery. They are incredibly grateful for the support they’ve already received.
At this time, Zoey’s medical bills have exceeded $4,000, and the costs are still rising.
Zoey is a deeply loved member of their family, and they are committed to fighting for her. But they cannot do this alone.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support for Zoey during this critical time.
There is a current fundraiser circulating from the rescue, in an attempt to eliminate the middle man I’ve decided to start this go fund me as veterinary expenses continue to increase daily. To make sure every dollar goes directly toward her life-saving treatment, we’re asking for support here to help remove the middleman of the rescue she originally came from, allowing funds to go straight to her medical care without delay. The cost of emergency care, tests, and ongoing treatment is overwhelming, and any donation — no matter the size — will make a meaningful difference in giving her the best possible chance to recover and come home. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for helping us fight for this sweet girl’s life.
UPDATE:
Zoey has made an uphill climb today, she is still inpatient with an ng tube on Iv support. They were able to discontinue her Iv antibiotics this afternoon as her labs are improving. She is slightly interested in food, but not enough to consider it “eating” the hope is that after stopping some of the medications she will be more interested in eating. We are headed in the right direction and are very very optimistic. We are incredibly grateful for all of the support in all the ways it’s been given.
