Join Us in Fighting For Evelyn

Hello, everyone. After a lot of consideration, our little family has decided to create a Go Fund Me for our daughter Evelyn. As many of you know, May 28th 2024 we attended our 20 week anatomy scan, & in that appointment the doctor had some concerns of some brain abnormalities in Evelyn. We then were transferred to Texas Children’s Hospital in Medical Center to do further scans, where they detected the abnormalities. June 13th 2024 we received the results of the MRI done the previous day. Our daughter has Corpus Callosum Hypoplasia, Dandy Walker Malformation (cyst), Hydrocephalus, a cleft in her back right hemisphere, & her entire right hemisphere is affected & enlarged. Unfortunately with these conditions, we do not have a set prognosis as these conditions are a “wait & see” situation. Through research & speaking with a neurologist, there is a possibility of her condition getting worse. These conditions have a high possibility of seizures, extreme mental delay, paralysis, & more. As far as we know currently, mine & Evelyn’s care has been transferred to the hospital for monitoring. The hospital will have the medical team & equipment that will best help our daughter. We do know that there is a possibility of Evelyn needing a brain surgery after she is born, a shunt that is placed into her skull to drain the excess fluid buildup in her brain, & multiple different therapies to help her the best that we can, & possibly a NICU stay in case of her condition gets worse & if she needs medical intervention after birth.

We kindly ask for your donation, supplies, or even sharing our Go Fund Me so that we may properly care for Evelyn & give her the best quality of life that we can. We greatly appreciate everyone for pitching in & their support in these hard times. We may adjust the total needed to be raised just due to the fact that we have no idea what will happen when she is here.
