My dad has been struggling with a constant health issue for the past year. We recently went through a series of hospital trips to figure out exactly what his diagnosis could be. He was found with a tumor in his kidney. For the past few months, he finally was able to see a urologist to establish if the tumor was cancer or not. After undergoing a biopsy it was determined that it was kidney cancer. It was the absolute last thing we had ever expected. He has been in and out of hospitals and appointments to get to his treatment plan thus putting him in a tough spot financially as is. On October 4th he will undergo surgery to get the whole left kidney removed. He will be out of work due to recovery and/or potential treatment if needed.
