Dear friends and family,

As many of you may know, our mom, Debbie, underwent surgery for her diagnosis of stage 2, triple-negative breast cancer in May. The surgery was said to be extensive and took up most of the day. She is now currently going through chemotherapy which will continue for many more months; as they say this type of breast cancer is the worst kind a person can have…

As some know, mom survived stage 3c ovarian cancer 15 years ago because God is GOOD! And because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we know He can do it again! Her survival from that cancer is a miracle. Those were the words of her surgeon: “A pure miracle that he’s never seen before.” Watching a parent go through something so difficult as young teens felt helpless and scary, but as adults this time we are trying to help in any way possible through all that comes with this battle.

We know the burden of surgery and treatment can feel very heavy along with all the emotions of this diagnosis, and Josh and I would like to help ease the financial load off of Mom and Dad’s shoulders if we can. Especially because this will take her out of work for a while. We are asking for PRAYER first and foremost, but are also asking for help to meet our goal of blessing them with $20,000 to help cover her surgery and life after for a little while.

We are forever thankful to have a support system we can count on. It is never fun or easy to have a parent go through cancer once… but twice is too much.
