This is Alex, he is one of our respected MRI Technologists here at Midtown Medical Imaging.

Last Friday Alex was involved in somewhat of a freak accident. The accident left Alex in the hospital with head and spinal injuries. He is currently doing pretty well and is being evaluated for the issues with his brain and spine. I can share that he has full function of arms and legs and is at a point in which he can walk with medical assistance for balance and stability. Unfortunately, he is still experiencing an active brain bleed which is being monitored very closely, but this may ultimately result in brain surgery. We do not know how long he will be in the hospital, how long he will be out of work (least important thing for him to think about right now), if surgery is in his future, or what recovery and/or rehab time may be.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He is strong and has already shown that he is a fighter. Again, he is stable and recovering but we are pretty lucky that he is still with us.

We just want to create an avenue to hopefully eliminate any additional stress on him and allow him to focus on his health and recovery. Lets all come together and help make this recovery process a little bit easier for him.
