Help Support Dave’s Care in His Fight with Glioblastoma
In October 2022, my dad Dave was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer with an average life expectancy of just 12 to 14 months. By the grace of God and the incredible care he has received, we have been blessed with almost three precious years filled with laughter, love, and a remarkably high quality of life.
Over the past two months his cancer has progressed significantly. We have now reached the point where treatment is focused on managing his quality of life and controlling tumor growth for as long as possible. Unfortunately, glioblastoma quickly becomes resistant to new therapies and options are limited.
We are asking for your help to ease the financial strain as we navigate this next chapter. Donations will go toward the cost of chemotherapy, medications, and the additional care he will eventually need toward the end of his life.
Any funds beyond what is needed for his care will be donated to The Glioblastoma Foundation in the hope of helping others facing this disease in the future. One day I pray this can be considered a treatable disease, rather than a terminal one. https://glioblastomafoundation.org/about/glioblastoma-therapy-and-treatment-options
