The Philippines faces significant socioeconomic challenges, and among those most affected are children living in extreme poverty. I have personally witnessed young children — some as young as eight years old — living on the streets, sleeping on cardboard, and begging for food simply to survive. These experiences have compelled me to take action rather than remain a bystander. The photographs accompanying this message were taken by me while volunteering with a group distributing food to street children during the Christmas season, and they reflect the reality these children face each day.
I am currently in the process of establishing a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds that will provide food, clothing, and essential support to children in need. This includes forming the legal entity, developing an online platform, building a network of volunteers, and collaborating with local outreach programs throughout the Philippines to ensure that every dollar raised is used as effectively and responsibly as possible.
It is a privilege to spend part of my life in such a remarkable country. However, I feel a deep responsibility to contribute to meaningful change for the children here who urgently need assistance.
I am committed to providing regular updates on our progress, transparency in our efforts, and measurable impact as this initiative grows.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
