It's Our 76th Year Celebrating the St. Johnsbury Pet Parade!

Each year, for 76-years, the St. Johnsbury Pet Parade has marched down historic Main Street in St. Johnsbury, Vermont! The Pet Parade is proud of its long tradition of celebrating all that is wonderful about life in Vermont – creativity, joy and the strong bond between people and their animals. Of course, we could not make this unique expression of community happen without your support.
There is an incredible amount of everything (planning, supplies, people, marketing, prizes, etc.) that goes into the production of this fun, all-inclusive and safe Pet Parade. In addition to a fabulous pet and farm animals on parade, we will have all the old favorites: awards and prizes, animal organization and theme exhibits, music, food and entertainment, face-painting and our limited-edition tee-shirts! We are also creating wonderful new traditions, such as expanding animal encounters and activities, an animal agility course, a pet friendly selfie booth, a story walk and our historical preservation project.
