We are the Support Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired. We believe that mental health and disability intersect, and our support group meetings have allowed around 100 group members all around the world to be able to express themselves in a safe environment. Throughout the year, we hop on a Zoom call once a month and discuss different topics such as societal stigma, familial barriers, and what it’s like overall to be a disabled person in this able-bodied world.

Our support group leader, Jenni De Los Santos, is looking for financial support to be able to book an Airbnb for us to celebrate our 4-year anniversary. If the goal is reached, we will have plenty to be able to book a stay, provide food for our special dinner, and potentially some t-shirts made for our group members.

Any contribution will help, and even a share goes a long way. Jenni is an undergrad student on a fixed income, and this fundraiser was created to be able to celebrate comfortably. We ask that you consider donating any amount. We want to go big for this celebration as we were unable to celebrate last year due to some unexpected life situations.
